San
Antonio native
Jade Esteban
Estrada is coming home in style. On Saturday, the
local-guy-made-good, now
a sizzling-hot Latin pop singer, will headline the San Antonio
PrideFest as grand marshal of the night parade.
Estrada,
who was born here to an Army officer and his wife, studied dance and
acting in New York. He has toured the United States and Europe as an
actor and singer, and two years back formed his own record label,
Vicarious Records, to release his first CD, "Angel,"
in February 2001.
Genre Magazine calls him "energetic and sizzling; the diva of Latin
pop."
PrideFest planners say they expect some 10,000 folks to come out for
the Saturday parade.
For
Estrada,
that should be a heck of a homecoming bash.
