Jade Esteban Estrada, creator of "ICONS:
The Lesbian and Gay History of the
World, Vol. 1" will perform at 8 tonight at Metropolitan Community Church, 1601 Foust Street.
The show explores the movers and shakers of gay history including Sappho, Michelangelo, Oscar Wilde, Gertrude Stein, Sylvia Rivera and Ellen DeGeneres.
Estrada has worked as lead dancer for Charo and a scratch vocalist for the Backstreet Boys. He has been featured on Comedy Central's "The Graham Norton Effect" and HBO Latino. His dance music can be heart on the FX police drama "The Shield."
