"I attended an Acting Master Class before the meeting today and I can't begin to tell you how refreshing and confirming it was for me!
Just when I was beginning to feel like my acting wasn't any good and thinking [that] maybe [I wasn't] as good as I thought I was...by means of improvisation, my skill showed up, after not showing up for a couple of years. Meaning, I [have] incorporated improv into my auditions, (that's usually one of the ways of knocking on my talent's door) but everytime, nothing but frustration showed through, so I haven't been cast in shit.
But I was reminded of the magic of acting today with Jade Esteban Estrada.
Reminded that implementing given circumstances plus the fluidity of time and space (the secrets we reveal as we tell a story on stage) can equal work that is actually better, brilliant even, than if you were to directly accomplish a task (action) or just do as instructed.
Yes, acting and producing live work is rocket science. If it's not, you're missing out, you're a prodigy, or you're cowardly biased.
I learned a lot more great things, but 'I'd hafta charge'...
I'm careful with education and curriculum's development, which was Jade's, so I will highly recommend any of his classes.
It's the least I could do after the gifts he shared with me today. "
