San Antonio native Jade Esteban Estrada, who has been touring college

campuses for the past few years with his one-man show "Tortilla Heaven," recently was given the honorary title of "Kentucky Colonel" by Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher.

Estrada joins other honorary colonels, including Winston Churchill, Ronald Reagan, Bob Hope, Joan Crawford, Mae West and Johnny Depp.

The 32-year-old was the headline act for the second annual Statewide Dinner for the Kentucky Fairness Alliance in Lexington.

"My job is to bring change and understanding," he said. "The more I look at people's differences, the more I realize we're all the same."

Estrada is working on his second Latino-themed one-man show "Pico de Gallo," which he said he plans to bring to San Antonio.
