"Master entertainer" (Richmond Times-Dispatch) Jade Esteban Estrada began his theatrical career as a child performing at the Historic Josephine Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York, he won the role of Flat Top in the 1993 German production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express in Bochum, Germany.

In 2009, he founded his Acting Master Class Series where he continues to offer workshops in acting, musical theatre, voice and speech and dance. Estrada has been featured in several theatrical books including The Dance Information Sourcebook by Cheryl Obal, Chekhov: The Cherry Orchard - Plays in Production by James N. Loehlin, Auf Rollschuhen Zum Welterfolg: 20 Jahre Starlight Express Live in Bochum and Holy Headshot! A Celebration of America's Undiscovered Talent by Patrick Borelli and Douglas Gorenstein.

His one-person shows include the critically-acclaimed Tortilla Heaven and ICONS: The Lesbian and Gay History of the World, Vol. 1.

Past credits include: Magnolia City (Houston).

Children's theatre past credits: Juan Bobo and Friends: Latin American Folktales (international tour), Tom Thumb: The Musical (U.S. tour).

He is a judge for the Drama Teachers Association of Southern California and teaches at acting and dance studios around the world.

In 2015, Estrada performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland (Funny for a Grrl, Smut Slam Cabaret, Laugh Train Home Showcase, Sex, Hugs and Gender Roles, Immigrant Diaries, Blues and Burlesque: What the Funk and The People's TV Show).

From 2015-2016, he was he the playwright-in-residence at Prohibition Theatre in Houston, Texas. Past credits include Magnolia City, a stage adaptation of The Masque of the Red Death and Tales of a Hard Nut.

In 2016, he became the inaugural artistic director of Terrible Enfants Theatre Company (Houston).

Currently, he is the artistic advisor for Texas Light Opera and the resident acting instructor at The Overtime Theater in San Antonio, Texas.
