I really enjoyed
the show. I would like to
see it from the front
sometime, though!

Thank you for such
an amazing performance
Sunday. We were blessed by
your many gifts. I'm honored
to have finally witnessed
the outreach that you do in
our community and in the
world.

Saw you last night in
Mobile, Alabama. Just wanted
to say you were AWESOME.
Such a talent! I'm really
blown away by your gift.
Thank you for honoring the
call of Spirit within you to
serve people by shining your
light so brightly.... I was
honored to witness your
work. Thank you for such a
great experience in
opening my heart and spirit.

You are one of the best
entertainers I have ever
seen. I first saw you in
ICONS in Omaha, NE then I
had to come back the next
night for ICONS 2 because I
enjoyed the show so much.
Keep it up. You are the
best. Hope to see you in
Omaha more often.

I was really moved by
ICONS when I saw
you at Gypsy Productions
over at the Suncoast Theater
in St. Petersburg, FL. I
was taken by your depiction
of the time period during
Stonewall in the Village
which is related to the
attack on singer/artist
Kevin Aviance. It is artists
like yourself and Kevin who
influence the gay community.
I met you after the show
briefly and introduced
myself. We count on
performers like you and
Kevin to attend gay pride
events in Florida.

Jade is an awesome
performer and an awesome person as well. I got to
know him when he came to our university for
Awareness Week. After staying up for two nights
later that we should have, having to buy makeup at a
Walgreens in my hick town, and an awesome
performance I can say he is WELL worth it. You
should see him and see what he is about.

Awesome, dude! You are so energetic and really do
know how to put on a good show and you're a really
nice guy!

Dear Jade: I got to see your show at the Reading
Grounds. I'm the one who picked up your hanky. I
really liked your show and connected with the
characters you performed. I liked Gertrude Stein
because of what she said about her writing, that she
wrote about human things. I'm a musician so most of
my songs are written about human things...or a gay
song that's made so straight people will maybe get
it one of these days! I liked Sylvia Rivera a lot.
For one, I liked her style. Throwing a show at a cop
seems like something I would do. Hope to see
you at Nebraska Pride!

We are all beside ourselves (which makes us
doubly-so) in anticipation of the second part of
Jade's unforgettable one-man-ensemble. I know I plan
the be there for each iteration, so ditto that
thought and you can say that over again! Once more
let me reiterate my utmost and repeated enthusiasm
for another opportunity to yet again enjoy the
return of the Prince (and Princess both), and the
many personalities he carries around in that
well-traveled suitcase. There is, of course, no
duplicate experience to such melodious Adventures in
Time and Toga, and so the temptation remains--like
Jade himself--entirely and irrefutably irresistible!
Seconds for me, please. Yay, Jade's gonna go Wilde
at the Suncoast, an encore I have slavered ere these
multitudinous moons!

I really enjoyed the show! I have no idea how Jade
memorizes that much material. He is excellent! He
told me that I was a "beautiful presence" at the
show--guess that means that I was really engaged
with his performance! I would love to see ICONS 2
and the upcoming ICONS 3.

Great remarks on
ICONS in Alabama (!) at the Metropolitan Community
Church in New York City at the Good Friday service
during the homily from Rev. Troy Perry, founder of
the entire denomination. He saw your show and
couldn't say enough. Felt you had to know! Hope to
see you again someday soon!

Hey, Jade! I just
wanted to thank you for the wonderful show you put
on for PRIDE FOR YOUTH today. It was really moving
and motivating. The best part? You kept us all
attentive! You played the parts wonderfully and you
really got into it. I want that thank you for the
autographed picture you gave me. I'm gonna frame it
as soon as I can! Keep up the good work and may good
fortune come to you always. If you don't remember
me...I'm the guy with the spiked collar.

Just
saw your performance at Where Eagles Dare Theatre in
Manhattan and wanted to let you know how much I
enjoyed your show. It was not only fun but it was
informative for gays and straights alike. I really
enjoyed the Oscar Wilde section. Keep up the great
work and thanks for spreading the word!

Hello, Jade! I was in
the audience Saturday night in Atlanta. Great job! I
really enjoyed it. You are very talented. It was a
great evening! Good luck and continued success in
all your travels and shows. Break a high heel!

Jade put on a great
performance last night. I felt a rush of gay pride
when it was over. It is worth the time and effort to
get to the show. I promise.

I had the pleasure of
seeing Jade perform--truly a mark of a professional.
He did a great job of staying in each character
until the last costume change of a wig transformed
him into his next ICON. Not only was the show
great...meeting him in person I found he was a great
guy as well. Thank you Jade!

Dear Jade: Coming to
Knoxville was a wonderful gift you gave us. So many
are unaware of the people in the past who have
brought us to this point in our age. Our search for
love and societal acceptableness is ageless. Your
contribution brings such positive images and
knowledge. You are now an ICON to me. Hugs!

Saw the show last
evening in Knoxville, Tennessee. ICONS Vol. 1 is
great and I can't wait to see ICONS in June 2006.
Your performance was very moving and inspirational.
Look forward to seeing you again. All three of us in
my party really enjoyed it.

I just wanted to let

this year, you are a true entertainer! I would like
to ask you if you are still coming to St. Joseph,

I just
wanted to say that you were a breath of fresh air to
Jackson, Mississippi. I try to stay on top of new
things going on in this city but I had no idea of
the movement that was welling up inside the bible
belt of the bible belt known as Jackson. Your show
was absolutely wonderful and I enjoyed every second
but more importantly I was introduced to a growing
community in
Jackson.
It was wonderful to hear the cheer of women and men
who were proud of who they were. Not that they
aren't at any other time, but Mississippi is not
very welcoming to the Lesbian, Gay and Transgendered
community. Though I am not homosexual I am
African-American and realize how important it is to
be able to celebrate who you are. I was overjoyed to
see a gathering of Individuals who were so
comfortable and celebrated who they are. I hope
this is making sense! But I just wanted to let you
know that through your wonderful performance I was
introduced to a wonderful movement continuing in
Jackson. And you're right it is about "human
rights." I am so glad I was able to be a part of
this....and I'm going to get involved in the effort
to get you back here for ICONS 2. I wish you the
absolute best.

I
saw you last evening at Hal's & Mal's in Jackson,
Mississippi. It was a beautiful performance,
emotional and inspiring. Thank you for coming to
Jackson. God bless you for using your talent,
ability and hard work to reach out and help others.
I moved back here from New York in November of last
year and getting to see you here and watching your
characters was a breath of fresh air for me. I miss
my connection with the
GLBT Community Center
and SAGE in NY.
